Meet Philip

Philip’s experience has focused on litigation and appellate advocacy – including complex commercial litigation, municipal issues, and utility issues. Philip has experience in all phases of litigation – including temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions – and in alternative dispute resolution. He has served clients from individuals to international corporations across nine states.  This diverse perspective allows Philip to serve his clients with the understanding that each may have different priorities and distinct approaches to the same issues.

Early in his career, Philip clerked for two years with Justice Geoffrey G. Slaughter on the Indiana Supreme Court. Through that clerkship, Philip obtained unparalleled access to and knowledge about the judicial process. That experience increased his knowledge across varied areas of substantive and procedural law. From his clerkship, Philip took refined analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.

Additionally, the Indiana State Bar Association’s Leadership Development Academy selected Philip for its state-wide program for leaders that develops lawyers to be informed, committed and involved – both locally and statewide.
