National Nurses Day

National Nurses Day is celebrated annually on May 6 to raise awareness of the important role nurses play in society. This day marks the beginning of National Nurses Week. The week ends on May 12, which is Florence Nightingale’s birthday.

We are especially thankful for nurses and all medical professionals this year as they have been on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic. If you see a nurse today remember to say thank you.
